From the factory, Audi's 3.0T engine is equipped with a plastic thermostat housing. While sufficient when new, its plastic construction is prone to degradation over time. ECS Tuning charge pipes improve flow by providing a smooth and constant cross sectional area across the entire length of the tubes. Featuring a 2.5in inlets and outlets and a Carbon Fiber construction to reduce weight and increase stiffness. We measured a 63CFM higher flow @ 25inH2O, an increase of over 15% compared to the factory charge pipes. The factory charge pipes that come in at 2.9lbs compared to our ECS High Flow Charge Pipes at 1.2 lbs, over 1.5lbs of weight saving! Our high flow carbon fiber charge pipes are constructed from 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber, gloss clear coated for UV and heat protection for continuous operating temperatures of up to 300°. Designed to fit perfectly in place of the factory charge pipes, our CAD design assures a smooth gradual transition while maximizing flow.
PART DESIGN
The carbon fiber charge pipes are constructed from 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber, gloss clear coated for UV and heat protection for continuous operating temperatures of up to 300°. Designed to fit perfectly in place of the factory accordion pipe, our CAD design assures a smooth gradual transition from the intake/airbox to the turbo inlet.

The ECS Tuning Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit boosts power and lowers intercooler outlet temps by maximizing core volume and more efficiently dispelling heat over the OEM sandwich-mounted intercooler. The factory intercooler is positioned between two hot heat exchangers, the A/C Condenser and Radiator, and suffers from an undersized and underperforming tube and fin core from the factory. Upgrading the OE-location intercooler is difficult for most hobbyists and is hidden within the core support. An alternative choice is our In-House Designed and Engineered FMIC Kit which relocates the charge cooler front and center, right behind your front bumper cover for maximum available airflow while moving it away from the hot heat exchangers inside the engine bay, all while adding an aggressive appearance to your turbocharged VW!
Our design features high quality cast aluminum end tanks with an integral flow divider on the inlet for even flow distribution, a massive 26” x 7 ⅞” x 3.0” (614.25 in.³ volume) aluminum bar and plate core, which lends to an increase in volume of +19.78% over the OEM GTI intercooler, for maximum heat dissipation, bolt-on powder-coated steel brackets, which require absolutely NO drilling or cutting, and 5-ply pre-molded silicone couplers with T-Bolt hose clamps. Our intercooler was in-house engineered to provide a bolt-on cooling solution for the VW MK7 GTI and Golf R market. Through our in-house evaluation on our ECS Shop MK7 GTI, we measured an increase of +24 WHP @ 6,400 RPM and +18 WTQ @ 6,375 RPM along with an increase of 19% in cooling efficiency and 80° F. lower intercooler outlet temperatures after 3 consecutive dyno pulls.

Our ECS Tuning Rear Stress Bar Kit stiffens the chassis in the rear of your Volkswagen MK7/MK7.5 Golf, GTI, Golf R in the area most prone to chassis flex during hard cornering or changes in road surfaces. Our Stress Bar helps to stiffen the rear chassis from undesired torsional flexing of the body which allows for faster turn-in speed and flatter cornering, while reducing chassis creaks and groans.

It’s no secret that Audi’s suffer from weak, failure prone front thrust arm bushings. The stock rubber bushings are designed to allow significant fore/aft movement of the front wheels and absorb road impacts. This compliant design maximizes daily driving comfort and helps add to the “luxury” feeling of your Audi, but it also contributes to the numb, disconnected feeling that many enthusiasts complain about with modern Audi’s. Not only is the OEM design far from ideal for the street or racing enthusiast that is looking for optimal handling and braking performance, the constant twisting and deflection required of the rubber bushing often causes premature failure, resulting in degraded handling, wheel shimmy, delayed steering response, delayed braking response, unwanted alignment change, and poor tire wear. For the rest of us who enjoy seeing what our car is made of, these types of bushing simply won’t cut it.
Introducing the new ECS Tuning Thrust Arm Monoballs! The ECS Engineering team set out to design a solution that offers far superior durability when compared to OEM, requiring no modification and offering nearly instantaneous cornering and braking response for the absolute best road feel and driving experience possible. Our monoballs utilize a sealed OEM BMW M ball joint for exceptional quality and durability. The bearing assembly is precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and features a knurled OD to ensure a perfect press fit and longest lasting component life possible.
By utilizing a sealed ball joint, ECS achieved the ultimate in terms of low friction no bind suspension travel with no unwanted deflection, providing exceptional steering precision, turn-in response, and direct braking feedback; all while maintaining exceptional comfort and durability levels making these an excellent no compromise upgrade even for a street car. These thrust arm monoballs are a must have for any track car, but are also completely street-able and are a great upgrade for any enthusiast that enjoys spirited driving.
There is still another advantage to upgrading your control arms to ECS monoballs. When installing the control arms you no longer have to have load on the car to tighten them down all the way, now everything can be done using a jack with the car in the air.

This polyester tow strap is far and above the best tow strap available for the Volkswagen chassis. ECS Tuning uses a heavy-duty, chemical-resistant polyester strap webbed around a stainless steel stud. There is plenty of length available for tow hooks to grab onto without hitting your bumper and damaging paint or causing cracks. This tow strap installs into the factory tow hook location in the front or rear bumper support. A tow strap is a better pickup point than a fixed steel ring, which will add weight and protrude past the bumper. Some racing series have banned the steel rings because they increase the likelihood of contact during close racing. Our straps are sold in bright red, black or VW's famous MK7 plaid (red suggested for racing use as it makes it easy for tow truck operators and safety crews to spot).

The ECS Tuning Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit boosts power and lowers intercooler outlet temps by maximizing core volume and more efficiently dispelling heat over the OEM sandwich-mounted intercooler. The factory intercooler is positioned between two hot heat exchangers, the A/C Condenser and Radiator, and suffers from an undersized and underperforming tube and fin core from the factory. Upgrading the OE-location intercooler is difficult for most hobbyists and is hidden within the core support. An alternative choice is our In-House Designed and Engineered FMIC Kit which relocates the charge cooler front and center, right behind your front bumper cover for maximum available airflow while moving it away from the hot heat exchangers inside the engine bay, all while adding an aggressive appearance to your turbocharged VW!
Our design features high quality cast aluminum end tanks with an integral flow divider on the inlet for even flow distribution, a massive 26” x 7 ⅞” x 3.0” (614.25 in.³ volume) aluminum bar and plate core, which lends to an increase in volume of +19.78% over the OEM GTI intercooler, for maximum heat dissipation, bolt-on powder-coated steel brackets, which require absolutely NO drilling or cutting, and 5-ply pre-molded silicone couplers with T-Bolt hose clamps. Our intercooler was in-house engineered to provide a bolt-on cooling solution for the VW MK7 GTI and Golf R market. Through our in-house evaluation on our ECS Shop MK7 GTI, we measured an increase of +24 WHP @ 6,400 RPM and +18 WTQ @ 6,375 RPM along with an increase of 19% in cooling efficiency and 80° F. lower intercooler outlet temperatures after 3 consecutive dyno pulls.

MOUNTING BRACKET KIT
Our unique design to mount the intercooler makes this kit truly remarkable! By bolting our brackets to the lower crash beam bolts, absolutely no drilling into your core support or drilling into your beam are required! Simply remove your lower crash beam bolts to install our brackets. The beam does NOT need to be removed.
Made from rigid ⅛” thick steel then powder-coated wrinkle-black for corrosion protection
Pre-installed zinc-plated rivet nuts make for a simple bolt-on solution to our intercooler with our included stainless steel bolts and washers
Included in the kit are our horn brackets which position the horns closer to the beam to make way for silicone charge pipe routing.
A pre-welded tab on the driver's side bracket maintains a mounting point for the ambient air temperature sensor bracket.

Vehicles with SAI (Secondary Air Injection) will need to bend the wiring harness bracket 45° to clear silicone coupler. This can easily be bent to original form if ever desired.
Be advised this will NOT FIT pre-facelift MK7s with forward collision warning radar (large black sensor in lower, center bumper grille).

The factory MQB Gen3 plastic charge pipes and rubber couplers were never designed to handle the stress and abuse of higher boost levels much beyond stock. When combined with power-robbing abrupt and sharp bends, inferior rubber material, and small diameter tubing, it's easy to see why your intercooler pipes and couplers should be replaced, even on stock vehicles.
At ECS Tuning, we're proud to release our in house designed and engineered High Flow Intercooler Pipe Kit! Each kit comes standard with mandrel bent, bead rolled, powdercoated aluminum plumbing from the turbocharge to the throttle body, smooth flowing silicone couplers, stainless steel T-Bolt clamps and all installation accessories for an easy, direct bolt on installation.
The factory turbocharger outlet pipe has serious restriction right out of the compressor outlet due to small diameter tubing and irregular obstructions. We improved on this charge pipe by providing a smooth transitioning silicone coupler right off the turbo outlet which carries boost pressure to our carefully evaluated larger, 60mm (~2 3/8") tubing diameter intercooler pipes. The upper intercooler pipe features a CNC-machined and TIG welded mounting flange for the CNC-bent aluminum mounting bracket to allow for OE-like fitment. The lower intercooler pipe features a smooth transition into the silicone intercooler coupler for optimized flow.
Furthermore, the factory intercooler outlet pipe leaves room for improvement with its smaller diameter tubing and irregular obstructions. We improved on this charge pipe by providing a smooth transitioning silicone coupler right off the intercooler outlet which carries boost pressure to our carefully evaluated larger, 70mm (~2 3/4") tubing diameter throttle body pipe. The ECS intercooler outlet pipe features a CNC-machined and TIG welded MAP sensor mounting flange to allow for OE-like fitment. We've also include a smooth flowing silicone throttle body hose coupler to complete the transition from stock to better with our high quality parts.
Capable of withstanding greater heat and higher boost pressure than stock, you can expect to achieve greater reliability, less turbulence and less restriction thanks to the larger diameter tubing and smooth silicone bends. Never worry about blowing couplers off of our tubes, as each tube is bead rolled and secured with stainless T-bolt clamp over our 4-ply reinforced silicone couplers.

Designed and manufactured in the USA using the finest quality materials, we have designed a Performance Transmission Mount that controls fore/aft engine & transmission movement and allows for seamless power transfer to the tires. Wheel hop is eliminated, throttle response is improved and gear engagement is more precise.
More than just an insert, our ECS transmission mount is a full unit replacement that upgrades the bushings to polyurethane and metal to strong, yet lightweight, billet aluminum for the ultimate in drivetrain control.
Locking the transmission in place is accomplished through two vertically captured 70A Durometer Polyurethane Bushings, encapsulated between three black anodized, 6061-T6 Billet Machined Aluminum bodies using a zinc-plated, high strength securing bolt.
Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) are minimized over our competitors due to years of product testing and development. Designed to absorb NVH while withstanding extreme driveline forces, we've engineered our bushings using an optimal formula and durometer polyurethane, tuning the natural frequency and preload to the forcing frequency of the engine.
This allows for smooth power delivery through the driveline and to the tires, all with very minimal chassis feedback to balance comfort with performance.
A powder-coated bent sheet metal bracket properly supports the factory battery tray, along with all new OEM torque-to-yield fasteners for a complete, ready to install package. Simply follow our helpful Installation PDF for installation notes and torque specifications.

Our design on the MQB cars had to be unique, as this new vehicle brought upon new design challenges. Using the same successful polyurethane material used in other chassis, our metal components were revised to fit the MQB application. Throughout rigorous long term testing we proved our design choices were successful with countless miles, hard launches and abuse, pushing our engine mounts to their limits!

Enhance the exhaust note on your VW MK7 or MK8 GTI with our in-house engineered ECS Resonator Delete Pipe Kit!
Our Resonator Delete Pipe Kit removes the heavy and restrictive factory resonator assembly and replaces it with our high flow, straight-through exhaust section. This adds a deeper exhaust note in a simple, cost effective way without replacing the entire exhaust system. The resonator delete creates a noticeable increase in exhaust sound and more exhilarating turbo noise, without adding significant drone at cruising speeds.
PART DESIGN
Our in-house designed and engineered resonator delete pipe is made of durable T304 stainless steel 1.25mm wall thickness CNC mandrel bent tubing for straight-through exhaust gas routing. A high quality stainless steel, solid tube, barbed exhaust hanger is TIG-welded into the factory location for direct fitment, and flared ends match the original exhaust system perfectly. Stainless steel exhaust clamps are included for the inlet and outlet location for an easy installation.
Our Resonator Delete Pipe Kit is CNC mandrel bent for OE quality fitment and is designed to avoid interference with other components, while removing sharp bends in favor of smoother transitions.

In most vehicle applications, the corrugated turbo inlet hose found in the intake system is not designed for performance or modification. It was designed to get the job done, and when adding a performance filter, intake, or tune the stock inlet hose can start to show it's weakness when suction from the turbocharger is increased.
The ECS Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose was designed in-house with a high quality 5-ply construction to provide a strong but flexible structure and secure fit, which replaces the factory corrugated hose. A smooth interior provides unimpeded airflow, while the smooth, unassuming exterior adds an appearance upgrade to any engine bay.
ECS' Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose arrives with the necessary clamps for proper installation.

Our ECS Tuning Rear Stress Bar Kit stiffens the chassis in the rear of your Volkswagen MK5 Rabbit, R32 or MK6 Golf, GTI, Golf R in the area most prone to chassis flex during hard cornering or changes in road surfaces. Our Stress Bar helps to stiffen the rear chassis from undesired torsional flexing of the body which allows for faster turn-in speed and flatter cornering, while reducing chassis creaks and groans.
Our Rear Stress Bar Kit achieves all of these great benefits with little intrusion in the cabin, maximizing cargo area, while maintaining functionality with the rear seatbacks in all positions, with no noticeable increase in NVH. The entire assembly is easily removed in minutes and requires no permanent drilling or cutting into the body.

The ECS Tuning Rear Chassis Brace Kit bridges the gap between the mounting points of the trailing arm pockets and braces the weak rear tunnel areas. This triangulated bolt-on brace helps to increase structural rigidity of the floor and chassis area which helps to limit body roll. Our ECS Tuning Rear Stress Bar Kit stiffens the chassis in the rear of your Volkswagen MK7/MK7.5 Golf, GTI, Golf R in the area most prone to chassis flex during hard cornering or changes in road surfaces. Our Stress Bar helps to stiffen the rear chassis from undesired torsional flexing of the body which allows for faster turn-in speed and flatter cornering, while reducing chassis creaks and groans.
Our Rear Stress Bar Kit achieves all of these great benefits with little intrusion in the cabin, maximizing cargo area, while maintaining functionality with the rear seatbacks in all positions, with no noticeable increase in NVH. The entire assembly is easily removed in minutes and requires no permanent drilling or cutting into the body.

Permanent modifications are not required when using the optional set screw. However, for increased rigidity we recommend using the center bolt which requires drilling through the seat latch anchor and minor removal of welds as needed.

The ECS Tuning Rear Chassis Braces bridge the gap between the mounting points of the trailing arm pockets and brace the weak rear tunnel areas. These triangulated bolt-on bars help to increase structural rigidity of the floor and chassis area which limits body roll. INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT
Installation is easy. Simply unbolt the trailing arm mounting bolts and rear tunnel nuts, and install the appropriate-side brace.
Trailing arm mounting bolts are recommended to be replaced every time they are loosened. Please see ES250674 - QTY 4, for replacements (QTY 4 services BOTH braces). Torque to 50 Nm +45°.
Center bar nuts are reusable. Torque to 20 Nm.

Avoid breaking anything by removing your coils using the proper style of tool. This tool is designed like the OEM tool to perform the same task appropriately. Easy to use. Remove bolt holding coil down, insert expandable tool into bolt hole, tighten in hole grip tool and pull coil out.

Made from lightweight, hand laid epoxy resin pre-impregnated 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber cloth and autoclave cured then clear coated for UV resistance.
Mimics the lower section of the bumper & OE diffuser lines to accentuate OEM features
Additional, unique design feature extends the flaring lines of the OEM rear bumper cover to transition into our diffuser
Designed in-house using state of the art 3D laser scanning and CAD technology for precision fitment
Houses 4.0" quad, round exhaust tips; compatible with the OEM exhaust, although, we recommend larger exhaust tips for visual appeal.

Strut tower bars are an excellent and common handling upgrade that work by bracing the strut towers together to reduce chassis flex during cornering. ECS Tuning has designed and tested this strut brace in house to increase chassis rigidity and improve handling during aggressive cornering in your MK7/MK7.5 GTI, Golf R or MK7 Jetta. Our strut bar is made from heavy duty 4130 steel and bolts to our 6061 billet aluminum strut bar brackets for a rigid chassis connection. The complete strut bar packages underneath the windshield cowl without any permanent modifications to your OEM parts and is compatible with OEM struts or aftermarket coilovers that use factory strut mount hardware.

Change the tone of your B9 S4 3.0T exhaust with an easy-to-install upgrade from ECS Tuning! The ECS Tuning Center X-Pipe installs in place of the resonator located in the middle of the factory exhaust system to increase exhaust note and allow for better flow of exhaust gases. Weighing in at 11.7 pounds, our X-Pipe also shaves off 4.6 pounds from the OEM center resonator!
The engineers at ECS Tuning have designed a direct fit dual exhaust pipe featuring an X cross section in the center to balance exhaust pulses and increase expulsion of spent exhaust gases from the engine. But more importantly, installation of the Center X-Pipe increases the factory exhaust note giving a more tuned European sound. The ECS X-pipe is fully CNC mandrel bent from high quality 304L stainless steel, tig welded with smooth merged pipe joints for optimal flow, and finished off with a soft brushed finish for exceptional looks. Installation is a breeze and can be easily performed with the vehicle lifted on proper jack stands in your own driveway. Our in-depth installation PDF, located under the Installation Tab, walks you through everything from proper measurement, cutting, and install to ensure a perfect fit to your OEM exhaust.
